Tenho de acreditar que em tempos obscuros o público anseie por criatividade Avant-Garde, e precise de algo que alimente a alma. A questão é, você precisa ser esforçado e não dormir. Hum... E eles precisam encontrar formas de espalhar a mensagem; às vezes, isso exige tenacidade e ajuda vinda das fadas.
Acho que Night of Hunters seja uma compilação de experiências vividas por mim e Mark ao longo desses 16 anos... Ainda estamos juntos, que assim seja! E trabalhamos juntos, tocamos juntos. Ainda tentamos ser pais juntos. E se torna difícil às vezes quando precisamos ser “Os Adultos”... Então esse ciclo de canções, de certa maneira, tem personagens, o homem e a mulher, os quais entendo muito bem. Não é exatamente um tete a tete de mim e meu marido, mas existe um pouco de nós aqui e acolá.
Tori vai ao encontro da Fire Muse, (sua) força-mãe espiritual... Ela a explica que invés de reagir a essas forças (negras) com vingança e destruição, é preciso encontrar amor no lugar do sangue em seu espinhão. E este é um processo de aprendizado sobre como usar sua própria força. Invés de usá-la de forma destrutiva, (a missão) é recriar as forças destrutivas. E esta é parte de sua jornada.
Há uma força negra se reunindo. E alguns caçam por poder, enquanto outros para invadir os sonhos das crianças... Anabelle surgiu com o objetivo de despertar outras forças... Veio para lembrar (a mulher) de sua própria força vital. Mas Anabelle precisa sair pela noite, mesmo havendo caçadores por aí. E estes são justo os que estão caçando os sonhos infantis...

The fire muse explains that instead of reacting to these [dark] forces with revenge and destruction... you must find love instead of their blood by your thorn. And this is a process of learning how to use her force. And instead of being destructive with it, [the mission] is to out-create destructive forces. And that's part of her journey."
